Teresa Germanson, M.S., M.P.H., Ph.D.

Dr. Germanson is an epidemiologist and statistician who received a B.A. from the University of Michigan, an M.S. from the University of Cincinnati, an M.P.H. from the University of Michigan School of Public Health, and a Ph.D. from the University of Virginia. Dr. Germanson’s career as a research and clinical trials statistician has spanned academia, private industry and independent consulting. She pursued an academic research career from 1987-1995 as Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of Virginia. She was senior clinical trials statistician for PRA, a pharmaceutical clinical trials firm from 1995-2001, and was President of Germanson Statistical Associates from 2001 to 2012 continuing her role as clinical trials statistician. Dr. Germanson founded and manages a non-profit foundation in British Columbia dedicated to the challenges of mental disease. A bibliography of Dr. Germanson’s publications can be seen here.
